The City of Palmdale is committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming community for all residents, employees, and visitors through initiatives rooted in Access, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. To achieve our mission and vision, we must address tough issues such as the disparate impact and treatment of marginalized populations. In doing so, we can ensure the community's needs are met, and everyone can thrive.
The Human Rights Campaign’s Municipal Equality Index Scorecard (MEI) highlights ways that cities support LGBTQ+ people who live and work there. The City of Palmdale is a longstanding organization member and continuously seeks ways to support and empower LGBTQ+ community members and employees.
