Volunteering
Looking to get involved with your community? Not sure where to start? Our community offers an abundance of opportunities for individuals and families to volunteer their time. Volunteers are a critical part of many agencies’ ability to offer a wide variety of programs, and to continue to assist families in need. Volunteering also strengthens our commitment to the community we share.
Antelope Valley Volunteer Coordinator’s Group (AVVCG)
The AVVCG is a collaboration of local volunteer managers from a variety of Antelope Valley organizations that meets monthly for educational and professional programming. To learn more about the group and meetings, call 661-267-5473.
Community Volunteer Resources Guide
The resource guide is compiled in cooperation with members of the Antelope Valley Volunteer Coordinator’s Group as a service to the community. Inclusion in the directory is voluntary and conditional upon City approval. The City is not responsible for the accuracy of the information provided by participating organizations, and users are advised to contact the agency/organization directly for current information. Please note, inclusion in the directory does not connote an endorsement by the City of Palmdale for any programs or activities, and an organization may not use inclusion in the directory as an endorsement of the program for purposes of funding or collaboration.
