If you are dissatisfied with the administrative hearing, you may appeal the decision at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse. You must request an appeal within 30 days of the hearing officer's decision in person at the Stanley Most Courthouse as governed by California Vehicle Code Section 40215(b).
There is a $25 filing fee per citation required by the Court, which will be refunded to you if the judge rules in your favor. You must present the written administrative hearing decision as evidence at the time the appeal is filed.

The appeal is a hearing where the Court will review the decision of the hearing officer. You may not skip the initial administrative review or hearing and file immediately for a municipal court ruling.
The notice of appeal must be serviced at least 10 days prior to the hearing date to:
