Audit Committee
The Audit Committee facilitates communication between the City Council, City management and auditors to promote the financial transparency of the City.

AV Mosquito and Vector Control District
Meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of each month at 4:00 p.m. at 42624 6th Street East, Lancaster, CA. Public Member Qualifications - must reside within the boundaries of the Antelope Valley Mosquito & Vector Control District.

Board of Library Trustees
The Board of Library Trustees is responsible for establishing all Library policies and fees.

Enhanced Infrastructure Financing District (EIFD)
The City of Palmdale in partnership with the County of Los Angeles has established an Enhanced Infrastructure Financing District (EIFD) in boundaries of the City of Palmdale and unincorporated Los Angeles County (see boundary map). The purpose of this district is to create a funding mechanism that can facilitate the construction of public infrastructure improvements in this area.

The Housing Authority addresses the shortage of safe, sanitary housing for low income residents.

Human Rights Advisory Committee
The Human Rights Advisory Committee provides advice and actionable recommendations to the Mayor, City Council, and City Manager in their efforts to build and maintain an inclusive community by cultivating awareness, increasing diversity, encouraging sensitivity, promoting equity, and improving relations with various segments of the community.

Investment Oversight Committee
The Investment Oversight Committee consists of the City Manager, City Treasurer, City Attorney, one rotating Councilmember, and the Mayor.

Measure AV Oversight Committee
The Measure AV Oversight Committee has been established to review, comment on and make recommendations on proposed expenditures of revenues generated by the local ¾ cent transactions.

Mobile Home Park Rental Review Board
The Mobile Home Park Rental Review Board protects mobile home park residents from excessive rents while providing a just and reasonable return to mobile home park owners.

Planning Commission
The Planning Commission approves or makes recommendations on development proposals and environmental findings, and zoning decisions for the City.

Public Art Commission
The Public Art Commission reviews and forwards recommendations to the City Council for commission and acquisition of public art on City property, deaccession of artwork, acceptance of artwork gifts and loans, and proposals for memorials and murals on City-owned property, in accordance with each respective policy.

Site Plan Review
Site Plan Review is for development projects that are subject to a discretionary review approval process before the Hearing Officer during a public hearing, wherein the Hearing Officer invites public testimony in favor or against the land use proposal, reviews evidence and renders his/her decision.

Palmdale Tourism Improvement District
A PTID is a partnership between the City and hotels in Palmdale to create additional tourism and visitor opportunities that both visitors and residents can enjoy.
