The Palmdale City Library’s Mystery Book Club “Murder, Mystery & Mayhem” will discuss the book The Storm Murders by John Farrow on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m. in the Chimbole Cultural Center, 38350 Sierra Highway.
The first book in a trilogy written by acclaimed Canadian author Trevor Ferguson under the pen name of John Farrow, The Storm Murders continues the story of Detective Emile Cinq-Mars, who has been called “the Hercule Poirot of Canada.” In The Storm Murders, after detectives are called to a house the day after a blizzard and find two dead people inside, they must solve the mystery of how they died and figure out whether it was a murder/suicide or something else.
The Murder, Mystery and Mayhem Mystery Book Discussion Group meets the third Wednesday of the month at 7 pm in the Larry Chimbole Cultural Center. The group is open to anyone who enjoys a good mystery.
