Kaleidoscope Art & Music Festival Seeks Artisans, Vendors, and Community Partners

PALMDALE – The City of Palmdale is accepting applications for a variety of event participants for the seventh annual Kaleidoscope Art & Music Festival, a unique event celebrating the arts in the high desert, coming to the Palmdale Amphitheater, 2723 Rancho Vista Blvd., on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 10 am to 6 pm. Admission and parking are free for attendees.

If you are an artist, crafter, hobbyist, or student group looking to display or sell your wares, you can apply at KaleidoscopeArtFestival.com. The deadline to apply is June 30, 2023.

Professional artists can display, demonstrate, and sell their work and host in-booth painting demonstrations. Junior Makers, a new category for artisan sellers aged 17 years or younger, can apply for an 8’ x 8’ space in a shared tent. All applications are juried, and space is limited. Student, novice, or hobbyist artists may apply for a display-only spot in the ArtLight Exhibit. This category is open to groups, classes, schools, art instructors, and individuals.

Culinary, home, and beauty artisans may apply for the Fresh Made Market, perfect for cottage industry and farmers market vendors who specialize in items such as handmade candles, home scent products, skin/body care products, baked and canned goods, salsas, sauces, and traditional farmers market products.

Crafters Vendors, offering all handmade or personally designed items, can sell products such as fashion accessories, hand-crafted children’s toys, home goods, pottery, macrame, and more. Space is limited, and applications will be juried.

Visual and Performing Art studios and schools in the local area are encouraged to celebrate the arts with us. Agencies are encouraged to provide studio or school information, display their students’ work, or offer a demonstration. The event is a great place to connect with those wanting to get more involved in the arts.

Kaleidoscope is a community favorite event that features diverse artful experiences, including local and regional artisans, live musical entertainment, art displays, live muralists crafting spectacular works, in-person painting and craft activities, food, craft beer, and wine.
