Shakespeare Performed at the Palmdale City Library
PALMDALE – The Palmdale City Library, in partnership with Palmdale Repertory Theatre, is happy to invite members of the community to two staged reading events on Saturday, May 20. Join us at 11 am or 1 pm to experience this magical event, with fairies, romance and more! Come see a modern take on an old classic at these free sneak peek performances.
Palmdale Repertory Theatre, in collaboration with Palmdale Playhouse, will present a full production of Shakespeare’s most popular comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, from June 9 through 11. As a prelude to the full production, members of the cast will perform short scenes from the play at the May 20 Library event.
The Palmdale City Library is open Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm, Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
