Holiday Events and Activities at Palmdale Playhouse

Celebrate the Season with Music, Dance, and Visits with Santa 

PALMDALE – The City of Palmdale will present a variety of holiday entertainment and events to celebrate the season at the Palmdale Playhouse, located at 38334 10th St. East.

Starting November 28, visit the always-popular Santa’s Wonderland for a meet and greet with Jolly Old St. Nick. The cost is $7 per family and includes the visit, a 5x7 photo frame cover, and a goodie bag for each child 12 and under. Reservations are required online at Interested persons are encouraged to register early for this popular event, and walk-ups cannot be accommodated.

On Saturday, Dec. 2, at 7 pm enjoy Merry and Bright as the AV Children’s Choir sings some of the season’s most beloved classics like “Christmas Time is Here,” “Little Saint Nick” and “Mele Kalikimaka.”

Join the festivities on Sunday, Dec. 3 at 6 pm for Stone Soul’s Holiday Dance Party, featuring classic soul and Motown-inspired versions of beloved Christmas songs and hits from iconic artists like Stevie Wonder, James Brown, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, and more. The 8-piece band is sure to put on an amazing show with their energetic performance and impressive horn section.

Enjoy a Christmas Celebration on Saturday, Dec 9 at 6 pm featuring holiday-themed student performances of classical and contemporary ballet, jazz, hip hop, and rhythm tap dance.

On Saturday, Dec. 16 at 7:30 pm, West Coast Classical Concert and Symphonic Orchestras present Sounds of the Holidays. Two 50-piece full orchestras will perform holiday favorites that are sure to create wonderful musical memories.

On Sunday, Dec. 17 at 2 pm, West Coast Classical String Orchestra and Ensembles present Magic of the Holidays, playing seasonal favorites sure to delight audiences of all ages. It is the perfect way to get in the holiday spirit.

On Sunday, Dec. 17 at 4:30 pm, West Coast Classical presents Making Spirits Bright, performed by beginning to pro-level musicians playing an exciting, joyous program filled with holiday favorites.
