Kindness Rocks, 4 pm. Bringing the community together to spread kindness by painting rocks for others to find. Paint and rocks are provided. Free admission, open to all ages.

Legal Aid for Low Income Individuals, 3 to 6 pm. Services provided by the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles by appointment only. Call the Library at 267-5600 to schedule.

STEAM Thinkshop, 4 pm. Ages 5 to 11. Enjoy activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics in a “hands on” environment.

Teen Geek Club, 4:30 pm. A safe space to geek out about your favorite things. Ages 12-17.

Paint, Draw, Create 2 pm. Art class for all ages with Juanita McWilliams. Flex your artistic muscles and unleash your creativity as we paint/draw spring. All ages welcome.

At the Parks
Daily, January 6 through Saturday, Feb. 1 - Domenic Massari & Marie Kerr Parks
Monday – Friday 3 pm to 7 pm Saturday and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm. Park staff provides outdoor recreation fun for families and youth of all ages. On special days, park staff may set-up field days with obstacle courses, 3-on-3 tournaments on the basketball courts, or go on a scavenger hunt! Our goal is to create an inviting, playful environment for all. Please check in at either park to participate in the day’s activity. Free ball rentals and board games available upon request.
Wednesday, January 15 – Palmdale Oasis Park & Marie Kerr Recreation Centers
BINGO for kids, 5 to 6 pm. Yeti to Party? Come play free themed bingo and get the chance to win free prizes. This month’s theme staff will have an Abominable Snowman bingo party, and celebrate the winter season the yeti way! Ages 6-10. *Youth must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited, first come, first served.

AV Gem and Mineral Club, 1 to 4 pm- The City of Palmdale is partnering with the AV Gem and Mineral Club in presenting free educational and recreational fun that surrounds our everyday life. Members from the club will share their knowledge, experiences, and answer your questions. Families are encouraged to attend.
