[ARCHIVED] City of Palmdale Offers Fun, Creative Classes for Toddlers

The City of Palmdale is now accepting registration for some of its most popular classes for toddlers ages 2 to 4.  

Move and Groove Tots offers classes where kids will enjoy music and movement with organized games and activities that emphasize balance, coordination, motor skills and self-expression, and encourage exploration and creativity. They are offered Wednesdays, Feb. 5 through Feb. 26 from 10 am to 10:45 am at both the Palmdale Oasis Park Recreation Center, located at 3850 E. Ave. S and Thursdays, Feb. 6 through Feb. 27 at the Marie Kerr Park Recreation Center, located at 2723-A Rancho Vista Blvd.  Class fees are discounted to $21.60 for Palmdale residents, and $27 for non-residents. Parental participation is required.

Tiny Masterpieces is designed to spark the creativity of toddlers with art projects designed for tiny fingers. Children should wear clothing they can get messy. Classes meet on Fridays, Feb. 7 through Feb. 28 from 10 am to 10:45 am at the Palmdale Oasis Park Recreation Center. Class fees are discounted to $21.60 for Palmdale residents, and $27 for non-residents. Parental participation is required.

Fun Foodie Creations allows toddlers to experiment and create crafts with various types of food. Some projects might be good enough to eat! It is recommended children wear clothing they can get messy. Classes meet on Fridays, Feb. 7 through Feb. 28 from 11 am to 11:45 am at the Palmdale Oasis Park Recreation Center. Class fees are discounted to $26.40 for Palmdale residents, and $33 for non-residents. Parental participation is required. Some crafts may contain allergens.
