Intermittent shoulder closures for landscape assessment district tree trimming.

5 - Southbound State Route 14 Antelope Valley Freeway closures of HOV lane, through lanes, and the Palmdale Boulevard off-ramp

Closures between 9 am and 2 pm on April 13 and 14 for replacement of striping and delineation.  At least two lanes will be open for traffic.

6 - 47^th Street East and Avenue S

Intermittent lane closures in all directions for sewer maintenance.

7 - Hillcrest Drive from East Avenue S to Plateau Road

Intermittent lane and shoulder closures on the west side of Hillcrest for street improvements which include curb BS gutter, sidewalk utility relocation, and streetlight installation.

8 - 50^th Street West from Avenue N to Avenue N-8

There will be lane closures on 50^th Street West for street improvements. Access to Arnie Quinones Park will be closed for about 4 to 6 weeks for construction of the street improvements in front of the park.

9 - Eastbound Avenue M from 4^th Street East to 10^th Street East

There will be intermittent right lane closure eastbound on Avenue M for utility work for LA County.  

10 - 40^th Street East and Palmdale Boulevard

Intermittent lane closures for utility and sewer line installation.

11 - Avenue Q-10 and 8^th Street East, within Poncitlán Square

There will be intermittent lane closures, along with parking stalls and a portion of the park being closed for the construction of a cell tower combination flagpole.

12 - Avenue S and Westland Drive

Intermittent lane closure and flagging operation for utility installation.

13- Pearblossom Highway from 45^th Street East to 55^th Street East - new traffic pattern for reconstruction work on south side lanes

The current phase of Segment 3 reconstruction work will complete on the north side lanes this week. Work will then transition to the south side lanes by or before Monday, April 20.  The contractor will be working after hours to complete this transition on Thursday, April 16 and Friday, April 17, from 5 pm to 5 am.  There will be one lane of travel for each direction on the north side of the roadway while reconstruction work is done on the south side lanes. Please follow the new traffic control pattern and expect delays. Trucks must remain on designated truck routes.  The AV Swap Meet is currently closed due to COVID-19; access during construction will be detailed upon its reopening.

14 - Rancho Vista Boulevard from 15^th Street West to 30^th Street West

Intermittent lane closures for street widening, which includes curb and gutter, sidewalk, streetlights, traffic signal modifications, center medians, landscape, and asphalt paving.

15 - Eastbound Technology Drive from 5^th Street West to the State Route 14 Antelope Valley Freeway overpass and Carriage Way from Auto Vista Drive to Technology Drive

Intermittent lane and shoulder closures for landscape construction.
