[ARCHIVED] MA: Road Construction Update: Week of May 4 - 10



 

1 – Tierra Subida Avenue Between Avenue S and City Ranch Road

Intermittent lane closures with a flagging operation at times, reducing down to one lane, for Southern California Gas Company’s asphalt repair on their recently installed gas main. Expect delays.


2 - Avenue S from 28th Street East to Pond Avenue

Intermittent lane closures for the installation of Spectrum conduit across Avenue S. Expect delays.


3 – East side of 45th Street East between Avenue R-8 and Avenue R-13

Intermittent shoulder closures for landscape assessment district tree trimming from 7 am to 3 pm.


4 - East side of 35th Street East between South View Court and Avenue S

Intermittent shoulder closures for landscape assessment district tree trimming from 7 am to 3 pm.


5 - South side of Olive Drive between South View Court and Avenue S

Intermittent shoulder closures for landscape assessment district tree trimming from 7 am to 3 pm.


6 - East side of 40th Street East between Avenue R-13 and Karling Place

Intermittent shoulder closures for landscape assessment district tree trimming from 7 am to 3 pm.


7 - North side of Avenue R between 27th Street East and 25th Street East and east side of 25th Street East between Avenue R and Q-12

Intermittent lane and road closures between the hours of 7 am and 4 pm for asphalt repairs. To avoid delays, plan alternate routes if possible.


8 - 35th Street East between Avenue R and Avenue S

Intermittent shoulder closures between the hours 7 am and 3 pm for landscape assessment district tree trimming.


9 - Hillcrest Drive from East Avenue S to Plateau Road

Intermittent lane and shoulder closures on the west side of Hillcrest for street improvements which include curb and gutter, sidewalk utility relocation, and streetlight installation.


10 - 50th Street West from Avenue N to Avenue N-8

There will be lane closures on 50th Street West for street improvements. Access to Arnie Quinones Park will be closed for about 4 to 6 weeks for construction of the street improvements in front of the park.


11 - 40th Street East and Palmdale Boulevard

Intermittent lane closures for utility and sewer line installation.


12 - Avenue Q-10 and 8th Street East, within Poncitlán Square

There will be intermittent lane closures, along with parking stalls and a portion of the park being closed for the construction of a cell tower combination flagpole.


13 - Avenue S and Westland Drive

Intermittent lane closure and flagging operation for utility installation.

 

14 - Pearblossom Highway from 45th Street East to 55th Street East - new traffic pattern for Segment 3, Stage 3

Reconstruction work will be on the south side of the roadway. One lane of travel for each direction will be provided on the north side of the roadway. The 47th Street East intersection will remain open to all movements. Please follow traffic control and expect delays.


15 - Rancho Vista Boulevard from 15th Street West to 30th Street West

Intermittent lane closures for street widening, which includes curb and gutter, sidewalk, streetlights, traffic signal modifications, center medians, landscape, and asphalt paving.
