1 - Pearblossom Highway from the California Aqueduct bridge to Valley Springs Road

Full closure of Pearblossom Hwy. from the California Aqueduct bridge to Valley Springs Road, for roadway reconstruction work, starting June 12, 2020 and continuing through November 2020. The existing traffic control and lane closures set up on the south side of Pearblossom Hwy. from 45^th St East to 55^th St East will remain in place while work in that segment is completed.

Upcoming intersection closure: 40^th St. East and  Pearblossom Hwy. intersection will be closed to all movements for reconstruction work starting on Monday, July 13 and continuing through Friday, July 24.   Drivers can use Avenue S / Avenue S-8 and 47^th Street East as the 40^th St. East intersection detour.  Detour signs will be posted.

While Pearblossom Hwy. is closed, passenger vehicles will be detoured to Avenue S at Sierra Hwy. and Fort Tejon Rd. Local access will be provided to residents in the construction area, as needed and as construction permits. Travelers/commuters are advised to expect delays and to take alternate routes where possible. Avenue R, Avenue S, Palmdale Blvd/SR-138, Avenue P, or Avenue M are alternate east/west routes through the City to consider. Trucks must stay on designated truck routes (Palmdale Blvd/SR-138, Avenue P, and Avenue M are east/west truck routes). 2 –  Division Street at Avenue R-2

Intermittent lane closures North bound for utility work.

3 – Avenue S from 57^th Street East to Rockie Lane

Intermittent lane closures for utility conduit installation.

4 – 35^th Street East from Palmdale Boulevard to Avenue Q-12

Intermittent lane and shoulder closures for street improvements and traffic signal construction at Avenue Q-10.

5 – Rancho Vista Boulevard from 15^th Street West to 30^th Street West - new traffic pattern east bound Rancho Vista Boulevard

Right lane closure east bound on Rancho Vista Boulevard for the demo and replacement of all existing corner ramps from 15^th St. West to 30^th St. West. The intersections of 15^th St. West, Dunbar St., Riverbend St., 22^nd St. West, 23^rd St. West, Mesa Lane, 28^th St. West and 30^th St. West will be impacted and may have either lane closures or be temporarily closed during the construction of the sidewalk ramps. There will also be traffic signal modification work at 20^th St. West and at 25^th St. West including the installation of new traffic signal poles. The traffic signals at these locations will be on red flash (four way stop) at times during this work. Please use alternate routes if possible and expect delays.

6 – 50^th Street West from Avenue N to Avenue N-8

Lane closures on 50^th St. West for street improvements. Access to Arnie Quinones Park will be closed for about 4 to 6 weeks for construction of the street improvements in front of the park.

7 – 40^th Street East and Palmdale Boulevard

Full Closure of 40^th Street East, North of Palmdale Blvd. for street and utility work.  Use alternate routes.

8 – Pearblossom Highway from 45^th Street East to 55^th Street East

Segment 3 Stage 2 reconstruction work on the south side of the roadway will continue. One lane of travel for each direction will be provided on the north side of the roadway. Please follow traffic control and expect delays.
