The Palmdale City Library, located at 700 E. Palmdale Blvd., will host its “Kindness Rocks” on Monday, Oct. 7 from 4 to 5 pm.
The program is free and open to all ages. Rocks and paint are provided.
“This month we will be having some fall fun,” said Library Circulation Supervisor Janet McLagan. “Pumpkins, leaves, jack o’lanterns, spiders or whatever fall design you choose. Our goal is to promote random acts of kindness to unsuspecting recipients by painting and dropping inspirational rocks for other people to find.”
Kindness Rocks is held monthly at the Library on the first Monday of the month at 4 pm. Future dates include Nov. 4 and Dec. 2.
The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
