The City of Palmdale and other local agencies are exploring options to provide accessible housing at a variety of income levels based on local housing needs and community input.
The concept for this project is undergoing formation and will include opportunities for input from the community and stakeholders. If implemented, the neighborhood would benefit from an increased housing supply to address local housing needs. In addition to potentially providing new housing units in Palmdale, other positive outcomes that could be generated include the following:
The planning and entitlement of this project is funded by the Regional Early Action Planning (REAP) Grant program which is administered by the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG). REAP is providing funding assistance to the City of Palmdale to explore opportunities for the project site, analyze the feasibility and environmental impacts, as well as to engage the local community and stakeholders.
